Refund & Returns Policy
We back every TechTrove cooler with a 30-day money-back guarantee and a 1-year limited warranty. Read on for the specifics.
30-Day Return Window
If you change your mind, you have 30 days from delivery to return your cooler for a full refund — no questions asked. The clock starts when the carrier marks your shipment delivered.
For a return to qualify:
- Item must be unused and in its original condition, with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
- Coolers with visible damage caused by use, drops, liquid, or unauthorized modification do not qualify under this policy (they may still qualify under the warranty — see below).
- Gift cards, downloadable goods, and final-sale items are non-returnable.
How to Start a Return
Email [email protected] with your order number and a brief reason. We'll reply within one business day with a return shipping label (US returns are free) or a prepaid carrier slip (international).
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your return at our warehouse, inspection takes 1-2 business days. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days from approval. Your card-issuing bank may add 1-3 more days before the refund shows on your statement.
Return Shipping
- United States: free return shipping with a label we provide.
- Outside the US: you pay return shipping; we recommend a tracked, insured service for orders over $50.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable except when the return is due to our error (wrong item, defect, damage in transit).
1-Year Limited Warranty
Every TechTrove cooler is covered for 1 year from delivery against manufacturing defects, including:
- Failure of the Peltier element to reach rated cooling temperature
- Fan motor seizure or audible bearing failure within normal use
- Defective USB-C port that prevents power delivery
- RGB LED ring failure (Pro and Dual Pro models)
- Magnetic ring detachment under normal use (MagSafe-compatible models)
Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, modifications, or wear-and-tear of cosmetic surfaces.
Defective on Arrival
If your cooler arrives defective, contact us within 7 days and we'll ship a replacement immediately, before you return the original. We cover all shipping in both directions.
Exchanges
We exchange the same SKU only (e.g. defective black-color cooler for a working black-color cooler of the same model). To change to a different model, please return for refund and place a new order.
Gifts
Refunds for gifts are issued as store credit (digital gift code) to the recipient, not to the original purchaser, unless the recipient requests otherwise.
Lost or Delayed Refunds
If 10 business days have passed since refund approval and you haven't seen the credit:
- Check the original payment account again — banks sometimes delay posting.
- Contact your card-issuing bank — they may be holding the refund pending settlement.
- Reach us at [email protected] and we'll trace the refund with our payment processor.
